Nixon Art Mosh Singapore
4th September 2010
Kult was asked to curate the first Nixon Art Mosh installation in Singapore.
We invited our friends to be a part of the Art Mosh, such as funk band Mighty Mighty and funk DJ duo Pushin' On to spin. We also provided them with the freshest set-up: a popiah booth as a new home for their turntables. Local artist Chico Chicano came down to do some live painting, while silkscreen maestro Mojoko did his magic with an original print for Nixon.
The Nixon team flew in artwork from their team, all the way from Encinitas, Southern California. This included the photography of Craig Wetherby as well as paintings and skateboard art by Nick Denambride.
Local artists who were a part of the Art Mosh include:
Adeline Tan, Adrian Chan, Andy Yang, Antz, Brick, CK, ClogTwo, Debra Raymond, Gerson Gilrandy, Paul Tan, pixelmunky, Mr. B, Harrison Love, Isabel Löfgren, Ivonne Adel-Bureos, Izzy Asa'ari, Jaba, , Jamie Paul, k.0627, Kenny Chua, Kristal Melson, Matthew Teo, Mindflyer, Mojoko, Nataliette, Nazneen Aziz, Oats & Sparkle, Rick Treweek, Eeshaun, Race Krehel, Soh Jun Hao, Speak Cryptic, vectorscum, Winnie Goh, XOTL, Zahir Sanosi, zxerokool
